De Beers to raise the price of rough diamond at auction

De Beers, will raise the price of rough stones at it’s next auction.
“All areas have shown some price growth,” said Louise Prior, a London-based spokesperson for De Beers.
Diamond prices rose 4 per cent in the second half of last year, so far this year prices have increased by 8.5%.

A federal agency that regulates competition is looking into allegations of bid-rigging at car auctions at the Insurance Corporation of B.C.
