Break-in victim starts EBay auction for homeless

Published January 20th, 2008

A Victoria man who wants the homeless to stop breaking into his van has started an auction on EBay to raise funds to build a shelter for Victorians who need somewhere to sleep.

Nathaniel Poole, 47, has posted five auctions on the Internet site where, for a minimum bid of 99 cents, people can buy a piece of lumber or a shingle, length of pipe, piece of carpet or sheet of drywall.
