Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research Fund Raising Auction

Published December 5th, 2007

The Canadian Foundation for AIDS Research launches an online auction today aiming to recoup more than $100,000 it lost after an art student planted a fake bomb outside the Royal Ontario Museum.

The items up for bid – from donors such as Holt Renfrew, Gucci, Tiffany & Co., Birks and others – were to be part of CANFAR’s silent auction during a Bloor Street Entertains gala at the ROM last week.

The week-long auction starts at 2 p.m. at canfar.com.
