Norfolk County Police Auction

The Norfolk County Police Services Board is taking items obtained by crime and turning them into funds to help officers do their jobs better. A Police Auction auction happens Saturday morning at 10 o’clock at the Norfolk County Maintenance Yard on Norfolk Street South in Simcoe. Peter Hellyer, is Chair of the Police Services Board. He says there is bicycles, tools, digital cameras, and office furniture and more.
Money made off the auction will go into the “Proceeds of Crime Fund”.
That fund is used to purchase new equipment for officers, and help pay for crime prevention and public awareness programs.
