A Shelburne County real estate broker and a writer are being sued for defamation by two developers selling local land on EBay.

Lawyer Gary Richard of Burchell MacDougall said Carmen and Kevin Blinn have hired him to sue broker Joyce Case Harlow and writer Timothy Gillespie. He said he will file papers in court in Truro this week, alleging the Blinns have been defamed. He said they are seeking unspecified damages resulting from lost land sales.
