Ableauctions to Host Montreal Coin Show Nuphilex Spring Auction

Published February 28th, 2007

Press Release

Ableauctions.com (AMEX:AAC) announced today that it will host Lower Canada Auction’s two-day “Nuphilex Spring Auction” on March 2, 2007, and March 3, 2007, on eBay Live Auctions through its subsidiary iCollector.com.

This event will offer an excellent sampling of numismatic material such as raw or uncertified coins as well as an array of key-dates in all categories, including tokens, paper money, Canadian decimal and world material. Also available for bid will be a 1937 Osborne Bank of Canada $50.00 note, a 1914 $10.00 PCGS certified MS-62, and 1.9 oz. of pure gold.

Highlighting the auction will be a rare 1999 Gold Maple Leaf Hologram set in the original case with COA. There were only 500 hologram sets made, making this set a true commodity.

The Montreal coin show, Nuphilex, then co-owned by Louis Chevrier, created Lower Canada Auction in 2004. After two years, Nuphilex and Lower Canada Auction split and Louis Chevrier partnered with his wife, Pamela Cameron, to continue the development of the auctions, which are held twice a year at the Nuphilex venue. Although they had a small beginning, Louis and Pamela have continued success with their auctions and have been able to provide a variety of affordable items for their buyers.
