The Ontario Standardbred Adoption Society has announced the line-up for its Fifth Annual Stallion Breeding Auction, which begins today.
Eleven of North America’s premier standardbreds will be available to bid on now through Wednesday, February 28. All proceeds from the auction will benefit the Ontario Standardbred Adoption Society, which has successfully placed more than 320 retired or non-racing horses in adoptive homes since its inception in 1996.
This year’s list appears in alphabetical order below and includes each stallion’s 2007 advertised stud fee.

Once again, StandardbredsRUs will host the Stallion Auction. To register a bid on-line, please go to standardbredsrus.com, where minimum bidding rates are available. To increase a bid, increments of $100 or higher will be accepted.
All stallions standing in Ontario will accept bids in Canadian funds with a $500 non-refundable Cdn. deposit required after being informed as successful bidder. All stallions standing in the U.S. will accept bids in U.S. funds with a $500 U.S. non-refundable deposit required upon being informed as successful bidder.
Bidding will close at 6:00 pm ET on Wednesday, February 28, 2007
